PARCtraining provides in depth training across the entire scope of the dataPARC’s applications. PARCview users are aware of the power of this tool and its impact to the workplace, yet few can use all of the features. Chances are you have used some Trends, run some Centerlines, seen some Graphics and maybe even entered data into an MDE. We want you to unlock the power of our applications and help to convince your boss that a trip to the Northwest is worth your time, and theirs. Here are a few tips to get you on your way.

Tip #2: Show ROI
PARCtraining is 3 days of information, examples and practice. It is impossible not to come back without some takeaways. Receiving training directly from the engineers and support teams that you work with on a regular basis. They understand the challenges you face and can provide tips and tools from a wide range of experiences.
Tip #3: Make It Personal
We encourage participants to think of and provide examples from their own mills. Make a plan of what you would like to change in your mill and what applications might make an impact. Plan on who you would like to meet while at training. Meet face to face with the engineers or support staff that you have talked with over the phone. Or you can plan to sit down with a developer to discuss how a feature could impact your company. Share this plan with your boss to let them know you are serious about making a difference and that your training will be a valuable asset to the company.
Tip #4: Be Honest
If all else fails be honest! Let your boss know you are coming to experience the Northwest culture, catch a Timbers match and try some new Microbrews. No matter the reason you want to come if you believe in it, you can sell it. Who knows, if you sell it well, maybe your boss will want to come too. Sign up to attend a PARCtraining today to make sure you are able to make the most of your trip.
