GENERAL SUMMARY:

As Regional Marketing Manager for Japan, you will lead dataPARC’s marketing and lead generation initiatives in one of our key global growth markets. This is a hands-on role for an entrepreneurial, bilingual marketer who can plan and execute campaigns and create or localize marketing assets.

You will be responsible for identifying opportunities to generate leads and strengthen brand awareness across Japan. Working closely with our sales team, partners, and corporate marketing group, you’ll ensure that campaigns are executed effectively, leads are captured and routed properly, and marketing activities translate into measurable business growth.

In this role, you’ll draw on proven campaigns, assets, and best practices from our North American headquarters while tailoring and creating new initiatives that resonate with the Japanese market. You’ll have the support of a global marketing organization and the freedom to shape programs that drive local impact.

Based in our Tokyo office and reporting to dataPARC’s Director of Marketing, you’ll collaborate closely with local sales and channel teams to align global strategy with regional execution.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plan and execute regional marketing campaigns—including webinars, tradeshows, content syndication, media placements, and partner co-marketing—to generate qualified leads and opportunities in Japan while managing budgets and measuring performance against objectives. 
  • Oversee end-to-end lead management, ensuring accurate capture, validation, and routing of leads from all marketing channels into our CRM and marketing automation platforms for timely follow-up and nurturing. 
  • Manage and optimize marketing automation in HubSpot, including email campaigns, newsletters, and lead nurture workflows to drive engagement and conversion. 
  • Own Japan’s content and localization efforts, translating and tailoring global campaigns, creating new Japan-focused materials for local industries, and managing translation partners to keep the website, social channels, and digital assets fresh and relevant. 
  • Lead partner and customer marketing efforts, developing joint campaigns, case studies, and webinars while coordinating regional events and workshops that strengthen relationships and showcase customer success. 
  • Prioritizes routine work, respects schedule of others, flexible in response to changing environment.
  • Maintains a favourable working relationship with all other company employees to foster aid and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate which will be conducive to maximum employee morale, productivity, and efficiency/effectiveness.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Japanese and English (business fluency required). 
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail. 
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Analytical mindset with experience tracking and reporting on marketing performance metrics. 
  • Collaborative approach with proven ability to work cross-functionally across global teams. 
  • Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop (image editing). 
  • Experience with marketing automation and CRM platforms (HubSpot preferred). 
  • Strong grasp of digital marketing channels (paid/organic search, social media, email). 

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field. 
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing roles with responsibility for campaign execution, lead generation, or content creation.
