GENERAL SUMMARY:
dataPARC business is seeking significant growth opportunity in EMEA and hiring an experienced sales manager who will call on prospective customers primarily in France, other French speaking countries in EMEA, and Southern Europe. The primary job is to sell software/solutions to prospective customers. Applicants should be self-motivated with ability to develop sales strategy and channel partners, prospect for potential customers, manage day to day sales process for new and existing customers, coordinate & lead presentations and demos, write proposals, negotiate and close deals.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Drive sales activities (calls, offers, RFPs, and preparation of technical solutions with stakeholders)
- Lead customer-facing workshops on dataPARC including demos and presentations.
- Define high-quality technical and commercially competitive solutions matching customer requirements
- Communicate effectively along with the sales process with all stakeholders, demonstrating a high level of confidentiality and respect.
- Identify market needs and software portfolio positioning to support the go-to-market strategy.
- Develop regional & key account sales strategy
- Support localization of digital marketing (websites, webinars, presentation materials)
- Manage all annual software maintenance renewals & proposals in defined territory.
- Maintain personal knowledge and skill level with dataPARC products, and advantages over the competition.
- Lead activities to resolve customer complaints and problems.
- Effectively use the available internal resources available in marketing, engineering, sales management and technical support to meet the Sales Manager’s individual business goals.
- Utilize CRM for managing customers, leads, opportunities and forecasting.
- Meet regularly with sales management and marketing to provide feedback on the requirements for growing sales.
- Participate in all training relevant to department or position.
- Responsible for own personal safety, the safety of the team and those around you.
- Work in accordance with and enforce compliance with all Voith, BTG, dataPARC policies (ex: Safety, Code of Conduct, Commercial Policy, Security Policy and Export Compliance).

Supervisory Responsibility
This position does not have direct supervisory responsibility. However, strong team leadership skills are required to lead cross-functional teams in the sales process.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Experience working dataPARC or with other Process Information Management Systems (PIMS) and analytical software such as AVEVA PI, Honeywell PHD, GE Proficy, BrainCube, Wedge, and Seeq.
- Operational Technology (OT) and IT experience including: requirements analysis, systems design, continuous process improvement, SPC/SQC, project management methods and tools.
- Knowledge of Industrial AI applications and interface standards such as MCP Server. Understanding of modelling and statistical software packages & languages such as Minitab, MATLAB, R or Python.
- IT and database skills consisting of a basic understanding of operating systems, industrial networks and communication protocols, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Windows Server, and MS SQL Server.
- Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken. Other language skills are desirable.
REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- BS or MS Degree in Chemical or Electrical Engineering or Computer Science. Automation, Process Control or IT specialization.
- Minimum 4 years of sales experience with focus on large accounts, including enterprise sales experience at Sr Dir, VP, C-level.
- Minimum 3 years experience working in an operational or engineering capacity in the process industries. Process operations, automation, or maintenance experience an asset.
