GENERAL SUMMARY:
The Senior Software Developer works as part of an agile software development team and is a full-stack developer responsible for designing and implementing software solutions for use in manufacturing facilities. The position requires excellent organization and problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently, and the ability to create quality software components for our customers.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design and develop high-quality, clean, and efficient software
- Identify, prioritize, and execute tasks using the agile software development process
- Review and debug code
- Perform validation and verification testing
- Collaborate with internal teams and customers to fix and improve products
- Stay current with new technology and make recommendations when appropriate
- Communicate effectively, respectfully, and confidentially (when appropriate) with internal and external customers
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- C# experience using .NET Framework or .NET Core
- Strong time management skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Positive attitude
- Strong attention to detail and follow through
- Ability to use appropriate independent judgment to make decisions
- Ability to learn and apply organization policy and procedures
- Highly self-motivated and self-directed
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with Agile Development
- Experience with process historians/OPC specification
- Experience with React and/or ASP.Net
- Experience with Managed/Unmanaged Interop programming
- Experience with WCF and/or gRPC
- Experience with WPF
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server
REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- 5+ Years’ Experience as a Software Developer
